Since he joined, Bonno van der Putten has been actively analyzing investment opportunities in brands and specialized retail distribution in Europe, mainly in Spain, Portugal, Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS area and Russia. He has been actively involved in the investment decisions of the fund’s investments. He is also Board Member of several iconic Retail and Fashion Brands and international Trade Groups.  Prior to joining,  Bonno spent many  years in the international retail trade with METRO AG, the Carrefour Group and Polygram before he got involved in investment banking, primarily in mergers and acquisitions, in London, at CVC Capital Partners, Brightpoint and Monarch With €800 million under management, Monarch is a specialized fund investing solely in brands and specialized retail with a triple AAA positioning and international growth potential. The fund has offices in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Paris, Milan and Madrid.
